The Intuit Dome is a stunning monument to modern basketball… and, apparently, creative accounting. The halo scoreboard glows brighter than the line items on an “aspirational” invoice, and the seats are so plush you’ll almost forget they may have been softened by Kawhi’s contract add-ons routed through a tree company no one had heard of until last week. Steve Ballmer beams from his courtside perch, clapping with the kind of manic glee only possible for a man who can turn billions into an arena and allegations into background noise. Transparency is everywhere here-mostly in the glass walls, not so much in the paperwork. Still, the acoustics are perfect for catching both sneaker squeaks and whispers of fraud, and the fan experience is second to none. In the end, the Intuit Dome is a must-see: where the Clippers play hard, the lights shine bright, and the most dazzling moves may never show up on the box score. 7 Mill I mean 7.0.
