Iconic home of the Georgia Bulldogs in the heart of Athens. Games are played “Between the Hedges” because of the literal yaupon holly hedges that border the field of play on all four sides. This makes for a lush backdrop and is complete with the custom built doghouse for the team bulldog, UGA, one of the most famous living mascots in all of sports. My youngest sister went here (graduated 2019) and we went to a Georgia game all 4 years. I loved it so much I went back myself after she graduated to see them beat no. 7 Notre Dame when Georgia were no. 3. With a seating capacity of 92,000 it’s one of the craziest atmospheres in all of college football. Access is pretty seamless and the acoustics are tremendous. Only ding is the concessions are a little underwhelming but you don’t go to Sanford Stadium for the food. You go for some smash mouth SEC football. Go Dawgs!
