William H. Detrick Gymnasium

The William H. Detrick Gymnasium is the basketball arena of the Central Connecticut Blue Devils in New Britain, Connecticut. It is the home court for CCSU men's and women's basketball and volleyball in the Northeast Conference. The gym's compact seating bowl keeps students close to the floor, giving Blue Devils games an energetic, old-school college atmosphere.

The gymnasium opened in December 1965, christened with a Blue Devils win over Coast Guard, and is named for longtime head coach Bill Detrick, who won a school-record 468 games over 29 seasons. It has remained the program's home court for six decades of Northeast Conference basketball. The court received a new playing surface in 2005, the first replacement since the building opened.
