Wolstein Center

The Wolstein Center is the home of the Cleveland State Vikings basketball teams in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The multipurpose arena is the largest on-campus-affiliated basketball venue in the Horizon League and doubles as one of the city's major concert and events halls. On game nights it hosts Vikings men's and women's basketball, while through the rest of the calendar it welcomes touring concerts, professional wrestling broadcasts, and community gatherings. Its downtown location makes it an easy draw for both students and the wider Cleveland sports and entertainment crowd.

Opened in 1991 as the CSU Convocation Center, the arena was renamed the Wolstein Center in 1999 and has hosted Cleveland State basketball, including Horizon League tournament games, ever since. It has also staged NCAA Division I men's tournament first- and second-round games, WWE's Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, and concerts by acts like David Bowie and Janet Jackson. In 2021, the building was converted into a mass COVID-19 vaccination site serving the greater Cleveland area. It remains one of downtown Cleveland's most versatile large-scale venues.
