Brooks Stadium

Brooks Stadium is the home of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers football team in Conway, South Carolina, seating around 21,000 fans. It hosts the Chanticleers in the Sun Belt Conference on Benton Field, one of the most visually distinctive playing surfaces in college football. Multiple expansions since opening have transformed a modest starter facility into a full-fledged FBS stadium. The teal turf and beach-adjacent Grand Strand setting give Coastal Carolina games a look unlike any other program's.

Opened September 6, 2003 with an initial capacity of just 6,408, the stadium is named for Coby Garrett Brooks and Boni Belle Brooks, children of benefactor Robert Brooks. Benton Field switched to its now-famous teal artificial turf in 2015, and phased expansions culminating in 2017 pushed capacity toward its current level as Coastal Carolina moved up to the FBS ranks. The Chanticleers' breakout undefeated 2020 regular season, capped by a nationally televised showdown with BYU, cemented Brooks Stadium as the home of one of the sport's most memorable recent Group of Five runs.
