Liberty Arena (VA)

Liberty Arena is the home of Liberty Flames basketball in Lynchburg, Virginia. Opened in December 2020 as a dedicated basketball venue on Liberty's campus, it seats around 4,000 in loge boxes and club seating that give it a modern, intimate feel. The arena was built specifically to elevate the game-day experience for the Flames as the program pushed for higher-major visibility. Its compact size keeps fans close to the action for Conference USA matchups.

The roughly $65 million facility opened in December 2020, giving Liberty basketball a purpose-built home distinct from the multi-purpose arena the program had used previously. Its opening reflected Liberty athletics' broader facilities push in the late 2010s and early 2020s. The arena has since anchored the Flames' move into Conference USA play. It stands as one of the newer purpose-built basketball venues in the region.
