Reed Arena is the home of Texas A&M Aggies men's and women's basketball on the west side of the College Station campus. The multipurpose special events center also hosts volleyball, commencements, and university functions. Maroon-heavy crowds and A&M's SEC rivalries give the building a strong home-court reputation on nights the Aggies are rolling.
Reed Arena opened in the fall of 1998 as one of the premier on-campus basketball facilities in Texas. It has hosted Big 12 and, since 2012, SEC basketball, and was the home floor for the A&M women's program that won the 2011 NCAA national championship under coach Gary Blair. The arena remains the athletic centerpiece of A&M's non-football campus events.
