Cal State Fullerton Titans

The Cal State Fullerton Titans play their home games at the raucous Titan Gym, one of the tougher venues in the Big West. Basketball was the school's very first intercollegiate sport, and the program has rewarded that legacy with multiple deep NCAA Tournament runs. Fullerton's identity is built on defense-first, tournament-tested basketball.

Established in 1960-61 as Cal State Fullerton's first varsity sport, the Titans program's defining moment came in 1978, when a 7-seed squad coached by Bobby Dye stormed to the Elite Eight before falling to Arkansas. Fullerton has won four Big West/PCAA tournament titles (1978, 2008, 2018, 2022) and reached the NCAA Tournament four times overall.
