Hofstra Pride basketball plays at the Mack Sports Complex on Long Island, bringing an up-tempo, guard-driven style to the CAA. Long known as the Flying Dutchmen before a 2000 rebrand, the Pride have delivered some of the conference's most electric March moments in the last quarter-century. Hofstra's faithful have waited a long time between trips to the Big Dance, which only makes each one sweeter.
Hofstra basketball dates to 1936, with its first NCAA Tournament trips coming in 1976 and 1977. The program won back-to-back America East tournament titles in 2000 and 2001, and after moving to the CAA has added titles in 2020 and 2026, most recently ending a long tournament drought. Hofstra remains winless across five NCAA Tournament appearances.
