Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens

Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens basketball plays at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, a longtime CAA mainstay now competing in Conference USA. The program has built a reputation for winning conference titles across multiple leagues, even as NCAA Tournament success has been elusive. Delaware's fan base takes pride in a proud, century-plus basketball tradition.

Delaware basketball dates to 1905-06. The Blue Hens won four America East tournament titles in the 1990s (1992, 1993, 1998, 1999) and added CAA regular-season and tournament titles in 2014, plus another regular-season title in 2022. Delaware has reached the NCAA Tournament six times, most recently in 2022, but is winless in the Big Dance, and moved to Conference USA in 2025.
