Middle Tennessee basketball dates to 1913 and joined the NCAA in 1952-53. The Blue Raiders won Sun Belt titles in 2010, 2012, and 2013 before moving to Conference USA, where they added titles in 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018. MTSU is best known for stunning 2-seed Michigan State as a 15-seed in 2016 and upsetting 5-seed Minnesota in 2017, part of nine total NCAA Tournament appearances.
