North Texas Mean Green

The North Texas Mean Green play at the UNT Coliseum in Denton, competing in the American Athletic Conference. The Mean Green represent one of the largest universities in Texas and bring a growing fan base to the AAC. North Texas's green and white colors and Dallas-Fort Worth proximity create recruiting advantages.

North Texas has made five NCAA Tournament appearances. The Mean Green won the 2021 first-round game against Purdue, one of the biggest upsets that season. The program has competed in the Sun Belt and Conference USA before joining the American Athletic Conference.
