Southern Miss Golden Eagles

The Southern Miss Golden Eagles play home games at Reed Green Coliseum in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, a program with more than a century of basketball history behind it. Southern Miss has bounced between conferences over the years and now competes in the Sun Belt, where it looks to build on a long tradition of postseason appearances. The Golden Eagles' identity is built on physical, hard-nosed play befitting their Piney Woods home.

Southern Miss basketball began play in the 1912-13 season and has earned three NCAA tournament bids, most recently in 2012, along with ten NIT appearances dating back to 1981. The program's signature postseason run came in the 1987 NIT, one of ten trips to that tournament across school history. Southern Miss has called Reed Green Coliseum home for decades as it has moved through Conference USA and, most recently, the Sun Belt.
