Wright State Raiders

The Wright State Raiders play home games at the Nutter Center near Dayton, Ohio, a program that has built consistent Horizon League relevance since jumping to Division I in the late 1980s. Wright State's identity centers on well-coached, tournament-tested teams that punch for conference titles year after year. The Raiders have carved out a niche as one of the league's more reliable contenders.

Wright State basketball began in 1970 and won the NCAA Division II national championship in 1983 before the program moved to Division I in 1987. The Raiders earned their first Division I NCAA tournament berth in 1993 by winning the Mid-Con tournament, and have since returned to the tournament in 2007, 2018, 2022, and 2026 via Horizon League title runs. The Nutter Center has served as the Raiders' home throughout their Division I era.
