Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks

The Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks play at the Costello Athletic Center in Lowell, competing in the America East Conference. The River Hawks are one of the newer Division I programs in New England. UMass Lowell's red and blue colors and Merrimack Valley location create a growing basketball identity.

UMass Lowell transitioned to Division I in 2013 and joined the America East Conference. The River Hawks continue to build their program and establish competitiveness in the conference. The university's engineering and sciences reputation attracts student-athletes seeking both athletics and academics.
