Quinnipiac Bobcats

The Quinnipiac Bobcats are the men's basketball program of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, playing home games at the M&T Bank Arena. A relative newcomer to Division I compared to its MAAC peers, Quinnipiac has steadily built its program since joining the conference in 2013, culminating in its first outright regular-season title in 2024. The Bobcats represent one of the league's rising programs as it chases its first NCAA Tournament berth.

Quinnipiac University was founded in 1929, though its men's basketball program did not move to Division I until the late 1990s, first in the Northeast Conference before joining the MAAC in 2013. The Bobcats have won three regular-season conference titles but have never won a MAAC Tournament championship and have not yet appeared in the NCAA Tournament. The program's breakthrough 2023-24 season, which delivered its first-ever MAAC regular-season crown, marked a significant milestone for a still-developing program.
