Northern Illinois Huskies

The Northern Illinois Huskies play at the NIU Convocation Center in DeKalb, competing in the Mid-American Conference. The Huskies bring MAC basketball to the Chicago suburbs. NIU's cardinal red and black colors and proximity to Chicago create recruiting advantages.

Northern Illinois has made two NCAA Tournament appearances. The Huskies have competed in the MAC and benefit from their proximity to Chicago's basketball talent pool. The program continues to develop in the competitive Mid-American Conference.
