Overview
The Norfolk State Spartans play at Echols Hall in Norfolk, Virginia, competing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The Spartans have been one of the MEAC's most successful recent programs. Norfolk State's green and gold colors and Hampton Roads location create a strong HBCU basketball identity.
History & Legacy
Norfolk State stunned Missouri as a 15-seed in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, one of the greatest upsets in tournament history. The Spartans have made four tournament appearances and have been one of the MEAC's most competitive programs in recent years.
