Florida A&M Rattlers

The Florida A&M Rattlers play at the Al Lawson Center in Tallahassee, competing in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Rattlers bring HBCU tradition and SWAC basketball to Florida's capital city. FAMU's orange and green colors create a distinctive identity among HBCU basketball programs.

Florida A&M has made three NCAA Tournament appearances. The Rattlers have been one of the SWAC's competitive programs. FAMU's legendary Marching 100 band is world-famous, and the university's strong athletic tradition extends to basketball as well.
