Overview
The Illinois State Redbirds play at Redbird Arena in Normal, competing in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Redbirds bring Valley basketball to central Illinois. ISU's red and white colors and college-town atmosphere create a competitive identity.
History & Legacy
Illinois State has made nine NCAA Tournament appearances. The Redbirds have been one of the Missouri Valley's competitive programs. Doug Collins, who went on to coach in the NBA, starred for Illinois State. The program has produced competitive teams and conference championship contenders.
