The Murray State Racers play at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky, competing in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Racers have been one of the most consistent mid-major programs in the country. Murray State's blue and gold colors and western Kentucky basketball passion create a loyal following.
Murray State has made 17 NCAA Tournament appearances. Ja Morant exploded onto the national scene during the 2019 tournament, leading the Racers to a first-round upset before becoming the #2 NBA Draft pick. Other notable alumni include Jeff Martin and Popeye Jones. The program moved to the Missouri Valley in 2022.
