Lehigh Mountain Hawks

The Lehigh Mountain Hawks play their home games at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, bringing energetic, upset-minded basketball to the Patriot League. Lehigh has built a national reputation for punching well above its weight class every time March rolls around. Lehigh University was founded in 1865, and the basketball program, known as the Engineers until 1995, has competed in the Patriot League since it became an all-sport conference in 1990. The Mountain Hawks are best known for their stunning 2012 NCAA tournament win over No. 2 seed Duke, a 75-70 upset fueled by future NBA player C.J. McCollum's 30-point performance, making Lehigh just the sixth 15-seed ever to beat a 2-seed. Lehigh has made six NCAA tournament appearances overall, most recently in 2026.
