Missouri Tigers

The Missouri Tigers play SEC basketball at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, having joined the conference from the Big 12 in 2012. The program has a long history of NCAA Tournament appearances and produced some of the sport's most memorable single-season runs, even without ever reaching the Final Four. Missouri's black-and-gold faithful bring a Midwestern intensity to SEC hoops. The Tigers remain a program capable of catching fire in March.

Missouri has never won a national championship, with its deepest NCAA Tournament runs coming via multiple Elite Eight appearances, most notably in 2002 and 2009. The program won numerous Big 12 regular-season and tournament titles before moving to the SEC in 2012. Missouri has continued to make periodic NCAA Tournament appearances since joining its current conference.
