Overview
The Abilene Christian Wildcats play at Moody Coliseum in Abilene, Texas, competing in the Western Athletic Conference. The Wildcats bring WAC basketball to West Texas. Abilene Christian's purple and white colors and Texas basketball tradition create a competitive identity.
History & Legacy
Abilene Christian upset Texas in the 2021 NCAA Tournament first round, one of the biggest upsets of that year's tournament. The Wildcats transitioned from Division II and joined the WAC. The program has rapidly developed its Division I basketball identity.
