Arkansas State Red Wolves

The Arkansas State Red Wolves are the men's basketball program of Arkansas State University, playing home games at First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro. Arkansas State basketball has built its identity around dominant regular-season stretches in the Sun Belt Conference, even as national tournament trips have been rare. The Red Wolves bring a proud Delta-region following to a program that has repeatedly come close to returning to the Big Dance in recent seasons.

Arkansas State University was founded in 1909, and its basketball program has won eight Sun Belt regular-season championships over the decades, reflecting a long tradition of conference-level success. The Red Wolves' lone NCAA Tournament appearance came in 1999, after winning the Sun Belt Conference tournament, though they fell in the first round. Arkansas State has since made repeated runs at the Sun Belt tournament title, including consecutive championship-game appearances in the 2020s, still chasing a return trip to the NCAA Tournament.
