Idaho Vandals

The Idaho Vandals bring one of the oldest college basketball programs in the country to the Big Sky Conference, playing home games at the ICCU Arena in Moscow. With multiple conference championships across the decades, Idaho has established itself as a steady contender in one of Division I's most competitive mid-major leagues.

The University of Idaho's basketball program dates back to the 1905-06 season, making it one of the sport's earliest college programs. Idaho was a charter member of the Big Sky Conference when it formed in 1963 and has won five regular-season titles (1981, 1982, 1989, 1990, 1993) and four tournament championships. The 1982 squad reached the NCAA Tournament's Sweet Sixteen after finishing the regular season ranked sixth nationally. The Vandals have not won an NCAA championship.
