Purdue Boilermakers

The Purdue Boilermakers play at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, where the loudest student section in college basketball creates an electric atmosphere. Under Matt Painter, the Boilermakers have become a consistent Big Ten power and national contender. Purdue's old gold and black colors and Mackey's intimate design create one of the sport's best environments. The program has reached three Final Fours and regularly competes for conference titles. Purdue reached the 1969 Final Four and the 2019 and 2024 Elite Eights under Painter. Glenn Robinson, Rick Mount, and Joe Barry Carroll are among the program's legendary alumni. John Wooden played for Purdue before his UCLA coaching career. The Boilermakers have made 35 NCAA Tournament appearances.
