Queens (NC) Royals

The Royals represent Queens University of Charlotte, playing Division I basketball in the ASUN Conference out of Curry Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. After a rapid climb from Division II, Queens has quickly established itself as a legitimate ASUN contender.

Queens University of Charlotte was founded in 1857 and fielded its first men's basketball team in 1989-90. The Royals moved to Division I and the ASUN in 2022 after nine seasons in the Division II South Atlantic Conference, and in 2026 captured their first-ever ASUN Tournament title, punching their first ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
