Louisiana Tech Bulldogs

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs play Conference USA football out of Ruston, Louisiana, at Joe Aillet Stadium, a program with a rich small-college championship pedigree from the 1970s that has translated into a scrappy, competitive FBS identity. Known historically for producing standout quarterbacks, Louisiana Tech has built a reputation as a program that consistently punches above its enrollment size. The Bulldogs' red-and-blue home crowds give Ruston a genuine college football atmosphere despite competing in a Group of Five league.

Louisiana Tech first fielded a football team in 1901 and enjoyed its golden era in the early 1970s, claiming national titles in 1972, 1973, and 1974 at the small-college and Division II levels, winning four straight conference championships along the way. The Bulldogs later transitioned to Division I-A (FBS) and have been a longtime member of Conference USA. Louisiana Tech has continued to produce notable NFL talent and remains one of the region's most tradition-rich Group of Five programs.
