Overview
The Monmouth Hawks are an FCS program based in West Long Branch, New Jersey, that built a winning tradition during a long run in the Northeast Conference. Under longtime coach Kevin Callahan, Monmouth became one of that league's most consistent contenders before moving on to bigger conferences in search of a new level of competition.
History & Legacy
Monmouth's football program was established in 1993 under head coach Kevin Callahan. The Hawks won five conference championships during their tenure in the Northeast Conference between 1996 and 2012, before later moving to the Big South Conference and then the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Football Conference.
