The Bowling Green Falcons are one of the Mid-American Conference's most decorated programs, playing at Doyt L. Perry Stadium, named for the coach who built the school's golden era. With a dozen conference titles across seven decades, Bowling Green has established itself as one of the MAC's steadiest winners.
Bowling Green's football program began in 1919, shortly after the school's founding as Bowling Green Normal School. Legendary coach Doyt Perry led the Falcons to five MAC titles and the 1959 UPI small-college national championship during a dominant 1955-64 stretch. Bowling Green has won 12 MAC championships in total, with the most recent titles coming in 2013 and 2015.
