Central Connecticut Blue Devils

The Central Connecticut Blue Devils play at Arute Field in New Britain, Connecticut, home to the winningest program in Northeast Conference championship history. Blue and white, Central Connecticut has become the NEC's most decorated football member, with a recent run of titles and FCS playoff trips that has re-established the program as a conference standard-bearer.

Central Connecticut State fielded its first football team in 1935 and has gone on to win a league-leading eight Northeast Conference championships, four of them outright. The program has been especially strong in recent seasons, capturing multiple NEC titles in the 2020s and earning the school's first back-to-back trips to the FCS Championship playoffs.
