Louisville Cardinals

The Louisville Cardinals play home games at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium, a program that has repeatedly punched above its weight in the ACC. Louisville has been a launching pad for some of the sport's most electrifying quarterbacks, none bigger than Heisman winner Lamar Jackson. It's a program built on explosive offense and a knack for producing NFL stars.

Louisville football has roots reaching back over a century and found its biggest moments under Howard Schnellenberger in the early 1990s and again under Bobby Petrino, whose teams featured Lamar Jackson's Heisman-winning 2016 season. The Cardinals have claimed eight conference championships across multiple leagues, including the Big East, but no national title. Louisville joined the ACC in 2014 and remains one of the conference's most dangerous offensive programs on any given Saturday.
