Southeast Missouri State Redhawks

The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks bring one of the more decorated championship histories in FCS football to Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Now a member of the Ohio Valley Conference, the Redhawks have a long tradition of winning across multiple conference eras. The program is known for physical play and a knack for deep playoff runs in recent seasons. SEMO football carries a quiet but real pedigree among Ohio Valley programs.

Southeast Missouri State fielded its first football team in 1902 and became a charter member of the Missouri Intercollegiate Athletic Association in 1912. The program moved to Division I and joined the Ohio Valley Conference in 1991, adding to a championship total that now stands at 21 conference titles across its history. The Redhawks won OVC championships in 2010 and 2019 and reached the FCS playoffs in 2010, 2018, and 2019. That sustained success across nearly a century of competition makes SEMO one of the most tradition-rich programs in its conference.
