UCLA Bruins

The UCLA Bruins play their home games at the iconic Rose Bowl in Pasadena, giving the program one of the most storied venues in all of college sports. UCLA football joined the Pacific Coast Conference in 1927, the forerunner of the Pac-12. The program's high point came in 1954, when coach Red Sanders led the Bruins to the Coaches' Poll national championship, a title shared with Ohio State. UCLA has competed across the Pacific Coast Conference, Athletic Association of Western Universities, Pac-8, Pac-10, and Pac-12 over the decades before joining the Big Ten in 2024. The Bruins' history at the Rose Bowl remains one of the more distinctive home-field traditions in the sport.
