Chattanooga Mocs

The Chattanooga Mocs represent the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga at the FCS level, competing in the Southern Conference with a program that has built a steady reputation for postseason relevance. Navy blue and old gold, the Mocs have made multiple runs into the FCS playoffs in recent years, giving the program a consistent regional following in southeastern Tennessee. Chattanooga's identity is built on tough, well-drilled Southern Conference football rather than headline-grabbing stars.

Chattanooga fielded its first football team in 1904 and has won 15 total conference championships across its history in the SIAA, the Dixie Conference, and the Southern Conference. The Mocs have not won an FCS national championship, but have made multiple FCS playoff appearances in the modern era, including runs in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2023.
