Tulsa Golden Hurricane

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane play home games at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Oklahoma, a program long known for producing explosive, pass-happy offenses. Tulsa has built a niche identity in Group of Five football as a team that can outscore bigger-name opponents on any given Saturday. It's a smaller market with an outsized offensive reputation.

Tulsa football began in 1895 and enjoyed its richest stretches in the 1940s under coach Henry Frnka and again in the 2000s and early 2010s, when high-flying offenses under coaches like Todd Graham and Bill Blankenship produced multiple Conference USA titles. The Golden Hurricane moved to the American Athletic Conference in 2014. Tulsa has never won a national title but has repeatedly punched above its weight as a mid-major offensive powerhouse.
