Weber State Wildcats

Weber State Wildcats football is a Big Sky Conference charter member based in Ogden, Utah, with a program history stretching back over sixty years. The Wildcats have built periods of real conference dominance, most recently a back-to-back title run in the late 2010s. Weber State's purple-and-white identity anchors a proud regional FCS following.

Weber State began playing football in 1962 and became a charter member of the Big Sky Conference in 1963. The Wildcats have won multiple Big Sky championships across decades, including 1965, 1968, 1987, 1999, and back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018 under coach Jay Hill. Weber State has not won an FCS national championship.
