Eastern Washington Eagles

Eastern Washington Eagles football plays home games at Roos Field on its iconic red turf in Cheney, Washington, one of the most recognizable playing surfaces in college football. The Eagles are a Big Sky Conference mainstay known for high-scoring offenses and a national championship pedigree at the FCS level. Eastern Washington's red-turf home field has become a signature part of the program's identity.

Eastern Washington has fielded football since 1901 and won its first and only national championship in 2010, defeating Delaware 20-19 in the FCS Championship Game under coach Beau Baldwin. The Eagles have won 28 conference championships across their history, including ten since joining the Big Sky Conference in 1987, and reached another FCS title game in 2018.
