The Idaho Vandals field one of the Pacific Northwest's oldest college football programs, playing home games in the cavernous Kibbie Dome on the Moscow campus. Steeped in more than a century of tradition, the Vandals have long been a fixture of regional rivalries, prizing gritty, throwback football in one of the country's more unique home environments.
Idaho's football program dates back to 1893. Despite reaching the Division I-AA national semifinals in 1988 and 1993, the Vandals have never captured a national title. The program has moved between conferences over the decades, competing in the Big Sky Conference in recent years.
