Lindenwood Lions

Lindenwood University's Lions have climbed rapidly through the college football ranks, moving from NAIA to Division II and now to Division I FCS as members of the Ohio Valley Conference. Based in St. Charles, Missouri, the Lions have built momentum with conference titles at every level they've competed.

Lindenwood's program grew through the Heart of America Athletic Conference in the NAIA era, winning its first title in 2004 and reaching the NAIA national championship game in 2009 as runner-up. After moving to NCAA Division II, the Lions won the Great Lakes Valley Conference championship in their first season in the league in 2019. Lindenwood transitioned to Division I FCS and joined the Ohio Valley Conference in 2022.
