Al Ain FC

Al Ain FC is the most successful club in Emirati football history, based in the desert oasis city of Al Ain and playing home matches at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium. The club has long been the standard-bearer for UAE football, combining a deep domestic trophy cabinet with a rare distinction on the continental stage. Al Ain's consistent success has made it a central pillar of the UAE Pro League and a source of national pride. The club remains the only UAE side ever to be crowned champions of Asia.

Established in August 1968, Al Ain has gone on to win a record number of UAE Pro League titles, more than any other club in the country. Its signature achievement came on the continental stage, winning the AFC Champions League in 2003 under coach Bruno Metsu, and again in 2024 with a come-from-behind final win over Yokohama F.
