All Stars National League

The National League All-Stars represent the best of NL talent each season, bringing together standout players voted in by fans, players, and managers for MLB's midsummer showcase. This is not a standing club franchise but an annual all-star roster that changes year to year. The NL side carries the tradition of the Senior Circuit into the Midsummer Classic. Rosters are drawn from every NL team's top performers.

The MLB All-Star Game began in 1933 as an exhibition between the American and National Leagues, and the NL squad has fielded some of the sport's greatest names over the decades, from Stan Musial and Willie Mays to Mike Trout-era stars. Because the All-Star team is reconstituted every year rather than operating as a permanent franchise, it does not have a traditional founding date or championship history in the way club teams do. The game itself has historically been played at rotating MLB ballparks, including recent editions at Truist Park.
