Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic bring NBA basketball to Central Florida, playing home games at the Kia Center just steps from the city's famed entertainment corridor. Since entering the league in 1989, the franchise has produced some of basketball's most dominant big men and a young, athletic core that has re-energized the fan base in recent seasons. The Magic's blue-and-black identity has become a fixture of the Eastern Conference.

Orlando entered the NBA as an expansion franchise in 1989 and rose quickly behind number-one draft picks Shaquille O'Neal and later Dwight Howard. The Magic reached the NBA Finals in 1995 and again in 2009 but have yet to capture a championship. Paolo Banchero's arrival in 2022 sparked a new competitive era for the franchise.
