Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars bring a fierce, big-cat identity to North Florida, playing along the St. Johns River at EverBank Stadium. Teal, black, and gold have defined the franchise since its 1990s expansion debut, giving the Jaguars one of the more distinctive color schemes in the league. The Jaguars joined the NFL as an expansion franchise in 1993 and began play in 1995, quickly making a surprising run to the AFC Championship Game in just their second season. The mid-to-late 1990s produced the franchise's most successful stretch, led by quarterback Mark Brunell and running back Fred Taylor. Jacksonville has not yet reached a Super Bowl, though the team returned to the AFC Championship Game following the 2017 season behind a dominant defense. The Jaguars continue to build toward their first league championship.
