Founded in 1997 as one of the league's original teams, the Sparks won championships in 2001 and 2002 behind Lisa Leslie, and added a third title in 2016 led by Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike. Leslie's era in particular made the Sparks the league's first true dynasty, and the franchise remains among the winningest in WNBA history.
