Cooper plants his Flagg
Cooper Flagg became the first teenager in NBA history to score 50 points in a game with his 51 in this game. Coincidentally, that 51 also gave him the most points in a single game for a teenager ever; breaking the record that he set back in January when he scored 49 against the Charlotte Hornets. He also lost that game along with this one. Prior to Flagg’s arrival, only 6 teenagers had put up a 40+ game. LeBron James did it twice. Carmelo Anthony did it once. Anthony Edwards did it twice. GG Jackson did it once. Cliff Robinson (who also held the single game points record for a teenager prior to Flagg) did it once. Flagg has 3 40+ point games this season. This kid is good.
