First Rookie to Ever Do It
At 22 years old Nick Kurtz became the youngest player to ever hit 4 home runs in a single game and the first Rookie in MLB history to ever do it. He finished the night perfect 6/6 with 8 RBI, 6 R and 19 total bases. He became just the 20th player in MLB history to hit 4 home runs in a single game. He joined Shawn Green (2002) of the Dodgers as the only other player to ever have 6 hits and 4 homer runs in a game.
