The Knicks Eviscerate Atlanta
The Knicks just completed the 6th biggest blowout win in NBA playoff history (tied with game 1 of OKC-Memphis in 2025). It is the 3rd largest blowout win in a series clinching game. Only behind Chicago against Milwaukee in game 6 of their 2015 series (54-point blowout) and Cleveland against Miami in game 4 of their 2025 series (55-point blowout). The Knicks also set the record for largest halftime lead in NBA playoff history. This is the 3rd 50-point blowout in a playoff game in the last 2 seasons. Prior to this game, the Knicks had never won a playoff game by more than 40 and Atlanta’s biggest loss in a playoff game was 43. Both sides have new highs in their respective categories. Incredibly, the Hawks had a higher shooting percentage in this game than the Raptors did in their game 4 win (38% for Atlanta and 32% for Toronto).
