Prior to last night’s game, the record for No. 1 seeds in NCAA Tournament games when leading by 15+ points at halftime was a perfect 134-0. Duke became the first #1 seed ever to lose a game in that situation (they led 44-29 at the half, after being up by as many as 19). The all-time record is now 134-1.
